About Me

Being a 90's kid, I had always been a huge fan of Sci-fi novels, comics, and movies. Can we create a machine that can think on its own? This question popped into my mind when I saw Ironman. I didn't find out the perfect solution, but it directed me to the path of Biocomputational Technologies. The success stories of autonomous surgical systems or the ideas shared at TED Talk always motivated me. So I decided to bolster my knowledge with various massive open online courses, and further, I opted for Biomedical engineering.

My interest is in creating value by solving hard problems. I am excited about solving real-life problems with Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence.

Currently, in my master's research, I am working on using Data Augmentation to improve classification accuracy on TCGA data. On the other hand, I have completed Artificial Intelligence Nano-Degree from Udacity, where I have worked on various projects/techniques like Sudoku Solving Agent, Pacman Agent, Adversarial Search Techniques, Hidden Markov Models, etc. To have more profound insight into Data Science/Machine Learning models used in industry, I have completed another certification from Udemy. My Undergrad and Intern experience are mainly in the field of Computer Vision and Image Processing.

I wish to be in a place, where I can learn how to incubate an elegant idea, formulate it succinctly and passionately strive to reach the goal with scientific integrity.

Projects

Sudoku Solver AI

  • Created a Sudoku Solving agent to solve diagonal Sudoku puzzles by using Constraint Satisfaction strategies.

Pacman Agent

  • Tested search algorithms like Depth-First Seach(DFS), Breadth-First Search(BFS),A-star with varying heuristics on Pacman agent to find food in optimised way.

Adversarial Search Agent

  • Experimented with adversarial search techniques to play knights isolation, and also solve N-Queens puzzle.

Stadiometer

  • Used Stereo Cameras for distance Measurement and height Measurement of a standing subject.
  • Integrated Machine Learning model, to predict the height of a disabled person.

Invisibility Cloak GUI

  • Created a GUI in python to create a invisibility cloak effect video.
  • Used OpenCV for Image Processing and Tkinter for GUI.

Snake Bot

  • Used Genetic Algorithm and Reinforcement Learning to play the snake game.

Sway Analysis

  • Formulated an analysis method to distinguish posture deformities
  • Recorded videos of a person standing still for one minute and coordinated with 10 subjects
  • Developed an Image processing algorithm with fellow students

Heart Beat Sensor

  • Built an embedded system to measure heart rate.
  • Investigated components and methods to reduce cost and size of the system

Facebook Page Post Scheduler

  • Created a JAVA application to automatically schedule posts on Facebook page
  • Integrated a web crawler to increase the efficiency and to reduce time
